Once, I heard voices in my head,
what are these I often wondered where to fled,

“Demons,” they called me, “possessed, unclean.”
Never did I dream I’d be free, serene.

I saw a man came as a Light,

Voices inside my head silenced and wanted to fight,

That bold voice calling me “Mary”, now fills my soul all through the day,

the only thing I once could ever wish and pray.

my heart stopped for a minute when I saw you crucified,
Rabboni! if I could hold you in that very moment.

Leaning outside the tomb I await,
crying and fretting without knowing my fate,
Memories rolled down my eyes with tear,
one last time Lord, I wish you were near.

I wished you were not dead,
when the tomb opened,
Is it a dream, I asked myself?
Two angels sat where you were laid,
couldn’t control my tears as I was afraid.

did you carry him away, O ‘ gardener?
“Mary”, that same bold voice called,
My heart leaped at His familiar tone,
Rabboni, my teacher, my very own.

Go tell others, he said.

I ran over my excitement
and told everyone what went into my head.

To serve you, Lord, with all my might,
This is my pledge, by day and night.

Even beyond this mortal strife,
I will love you, Lord, all my life.
